Starting a New Conversation

Perform one of these steps:
- To start a general inquiry, open the Interactions page and click Start a Conversation with Us. On a mobile device, tap the add (+) icon.
- To start a conversation about a specific record, open the associated
portal page, find the record, and click the Interactions link for that record. On
a mobile device, drill down to access the Interactions link. On the form that opens, click
Start a Conversation
with Us. On a mobile device, tap the add (+)
icon.Note: Not all portal records can have interactions.
- Type your message.

Optionally, you can include this information:
- Summary
- Specify a brief description of the message.
- Topic
- Select a topic description for this interaction. Topic descriptions are defined by our system administrator.
- Reference Type
- Specify the type of record for your message. If you create the message for a specific record, this information is specified automatically.
- Reference Number
- Specify the record number to associate with the interaction. If you create the message for a specific record, this information is specified automatically.
- Click the send icon. Your message is sent to our service representatives. Their response is available on your portal Interactions page.
